Rudraigh Callaghan Conall Quattrin, Laird of Glencairn
Alright, it’s pronounced “Rory”. It’s not short for anything. He is a male in his mid-twenties, who harkens from the Utmost West (the San Francisco Bay Area). He spent his formative and college years reading Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Vergil’s Aeneid. He believes that a Classical Education can truly qualify one to govern a Colony somewhere.

If he had to grow up in any point in History, this was probably the wrong one for him. We don’t even use swords any more, for god’s sake. If he can’t live alongside those heroes of bygone ages, then he figures that their stories and memories must be passed along to future generations, in such a way that they remain important and relevant.

Becky Chambers
Becky lives in San Francisco. She likes to write stuff, read stuff, and pwn stuff. She does indeed have a day job, but considers geekery to be a full-time occupation. As a small child, Becky sat between her parents and watched Star Trek: The Next Generation as it aired each week, and she would imagine that she got sucked through a wormhole onto the Enterprise-D where Deanna Troi was her best friend and she taught Data about being human. This will tell you everything you need to know about her.

Michael McKay (Chimp)
We found Chimp on the internet. Most people would have left him there, and we probably should have. He’s like that guy on TV who starts out as the quirky secondary character who pops up in episodes just to say something odd, but by the fifth season, he’s living in the main character’s house for reasons nobody can really explain.
