We are about appreciating the heroes of our childhood from an adult viewpoint.

We are about finding new heroes for adults.

We are about leaving those heroes behind for our children.

We are about perpetuating the legend of colossal figures in history and myth. We are also about creating new ones.

We are against taking things out of social and historical context, unless you can justify it really, really well.

We are against isolationist escapism, and those who associate stories with it. Isolationist escapism is for women and slaves.

We are for monthly comics, expansion packs, movies with well-timed explosions, D20s, and drunken debates regarding Marvel vs DC. Seriously, fuck Man-Bat.

We are for writing above the audience’s head whenever possible. We’re looking at you, Alan Moore.

We are against Tony Stark. Don’t lie, you are too.

We are for a classical style education, though we only got a B+.

We are against people with no imagination.
